New wheels arrived yesterday!
In all my years of messing about with cars this is actually the first time I’ve ever bought brand new wheels, so unboxing them was like being a kid at christmas.
Yes I know they’re reps, but they fit my budget and I’m happy with em! I was pleasantly suprised by the finish, the advert pics didn’t do them justice.
Specs are 18x8 et35, in 5x114.3 ... to fit my Mustang. JDM rep wheels on mustang is going to be fun!

Nothing wrong with reps as long as they dont see any track time.

That was kinda my thinking. I don’t plan on tracking this car any time soon!

“Hyper Black” according to the manufacturer. I think it will suit my light green car well.

I’d actually say that depends more on the quality of both the race tracks and public roads around you. Most tracks are in far better shape than public roads, and (as long as you are staying off the curbing at the track) you’re more likely to crack/bend/break a wheel on the road than at a track. If you’re tracking really hard and making full use of the curbing, then I wouldn’t track them either.
Regardless, I’m a big proponent of non-rep wheels in all applications.

I concur, the color is pretty epic.
Just dark enough to hide dat brake dust but not dark enough to be overly black.

Japanese modification styles applied to American cars is a guilty pleasure of mine. I’m thinking of turning a C4 Vette into a drift car.
Be sure to show us what they look like on the car.
